Cooling System Hoses
Rubber parts like cooling system hoses are not designed to last the life of your vehicle. They are recommended to be replaced every 5 years or 60,000 miles. This will prevent them from getting too old and unpredictable.
Radiators
These are all original equipment radiator manufactures for companies like Ford, Chrysler and Honda.
Water Pumps
We have found many inferior quality water pumps being sold. That’s why we use only Original Equipment or Top Quality water pumps.
How To Avoid An Overheat
Your vehicle’s cooling system is not designed to last the life of the vehicle. Old coolant can ruin head gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, radiators and water pumps. Rubber parts like belts and hoses should be replaced every 5 years or 60,000 miles. They can last longer than this but the odds of failure increase. A failure leads to an overheat. The driver may not even know the engine is overheating. How is that? When a cooling system loses coolant the temperature sensor may no longer be touching water. Therefore, making your temperature gauge no longer reading correctly. An overheat can blow the head gasket and even damage then engine main bearing.
